Vita Shakhnovich (b. 1998) is a multimedia artist and designer. By using an ever-growing archive of found documents to create autonomous artworks, Shakhnovich reflects on the closely related subjects of archives and memory. In her artistic practice, she raises the issues of affect, memory, and critical design theory, focusing on sensing, thing theory, and time perception.
Most of her works are transmedia installations, but she also works with video, smell, and sound artifacts. Сurrently lives and works in Brno.
